STeP by OEKO-TEX® stands for Sustainable Textile Production and is a modular certification system for production facilities in the textile industry.

This modular certification system aims to implement long-term environmentally friendly production processes, improve occupational health and safety, promote socially responsible working conditions, and guarantee our customers greater quality awareness of their products.

STeP by OEKO-TEX® differs from other certification systems because it is based on a comprehensive analysis and assessment of production conditions, rather than considering only individual aspects of sustainability. STeP analyzes all important areas of a company using 6 modules: Chemical management; Environmental protection; Environmental management; Social responsibility; Quality management; Occupational health and safety.
