Jute, known worldwide as "golden fiber", is one of the longest and most widely used natural fibers for various textile applications.
Jute is 100% biodegradable and recyclable, and therefore eco-friendly. One hectare of jute plants reduces about 15 tons of carbon dioxide and releases 11 tons of oxygen.
Growing jute in crop rotation enriches the soil fertility for the next planting. In addition, jute also does not generate toxic gases when burned.
The jute plant is a very productive raw material, in that, everything can be utilized. The outer layer of the plant produces fiber, the inner stem can be used for papermaking and its leaves are edible.
Jute is very strong, slightly soft, light, breathable, and has very good temperature regulation.
