SUSTAINABILITY

raw materials
– Recycled Polyester

Recycled polyester gives a second life to a non-biodegradable material that would otherwise be discarded in landfills or the ocean.

Recycled Polyester

Recycling process

Since the recycling process reconstitutes the fiber at the molecular level, there is no difference between recycled polyester and virgin polyester.

Properties

The performance, durability, high strength, and functional versatility of recycled polyester are the same as traditional polyester, but with a lower environmental impact.

Recycled polyester is more sustainable, not only because it recycles non-biodegradable material but also because it does not require new petroleum to produce. Thus, it contributes to lowering the environmental impact relative to global carbon consumption.

On the other hand, in addition to reducing the environmental impact, producing recycled polyester is a new alternative that creates 75% less CO2 emissions compared to virgin polyester.

Production Process

Its process begins with the collection and selection of waste and plastic bottles. Next, these bottles are ground into small flakes, to be melted into pellets later. After these steps, the recycled polyester yarn begins to be produced.
